Is the Step 2 Easel for Two with Bonus Magnetic Letters Worth Buying?

Drawing and writing are part of the learning process for every child, so this is one of those toys that is bound to go down well. The good thing is that it makes things fun, by including two sides that can be enjoyed either alone or with a friend/ sibling.

There are many great features of this Step 2 Easel, but probably the best for an adult is that no assembly is required – you just set it up and go! It can also easily fold flat so that it can be stored when not in use, which is especially great if you don’t have the room for large standing toys.

This easel has two sides – one magnetic and one chalkboard. On the magnetic side your child begins to learn numbers and letters, which can take your child through the early years of pre-school and kindergarten. They can rearrange the letters and numbers into whatever words or number sequences they like, which can help first teach them the alphabet, and then help them to refine their spelling and math skills.

On the other side, your child can engage his or her creativity in drawing or learning by writing letters and numbers. They can also simply scribble away with chalk, or attach a piece of paper over the chalkboard and draw with pencils and paints.

One important point to note is the number of small parts – this is not a toy designed for children under the age of 3.

The one downside of the product is that there aren’t enough letters included to create words or sentences – you’ll have to purchase extra to allow your child to do that. The included letters are fine for learning the alphabet, but you’ll need more to aid in the development of older children.

This is a great toy to purchase,my granddaughter has this Easel and she loves playing with it.
