Just about any child enjoys identifying animals and learning more about what they look like and the sounds they make. A toy like the See ‘n Say is really a staple in any child’s young life. This toy has extra features compared to similar options, with the animal sounds built in, plus the ability to sing along with music and play different games.
With learning and fun combined in one toy, toddlers and pre-school age children will have endless hours of fun playing on their own or with an older child or adult. The shape of the Fisher-Price the Farmer Says See ‘n Say is made to resemble a farm to make it more attractive to a child to entice learning.
Your child begins play by pointing the arrow to a specific animal and pulling the lever. The toy mimics the sound of the animal. There are also more animal sounds to listen to, increasing it to a total of 16. Older children will also enjoy the quiz game to test their knowledge regarding animals.
Two things to note are that the lever is not easy for young children to pull. The lever needs to be pulled all the way down completely before it will be activated. If your child is not strong yet, you may need to assist your child. In addition, some of the animals are given sounds that don’t quite resemble the particular animal (e.g. a bunny goes “boing boing”). Since this is a toy, as long as your child is having fun, that is all that matters.
